FIDIC Future Leaders Awards 2023
FIDIC’s Future Leaders Awards acknowledge and promote the remarkable achievements of future leaders in the consulting engineering industry worldwide and encourage effective participation of future leaders in FIDIC.
The FIDIC Future Leaders group, comprised of young professionals working in firms affiliated to FIDIC’s member associations, was formed to provide emerging professionals in the consulting engineering industry with opportunities to participate in FIDIC activities and forge the next generation of leaders of industry. Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) is a theme that is being embraced in today's business climate. A focus on diversity, equity and inclusion is important for every organisation and company in the engineering industry looking to build sustainable workplaces for the future - workplaces that represent the world in which we live today and especially for the world of tomorrow. As such we encourage all future leaders to submit an entry.
FIDIC Future Leaders Awards highlights and celebrates significant achievement and provides the following benefits:
1 - Encourages future leaders to become more active and understand their responsibility for the future of the industry.
2 - Raises awareness amongst FIDIC member associations and their member firms to be more aware of and positive towards future leaders’ activities in general, with special focus on related FIDIC activities.
3 - Showcases best practices to other future leaders, FIDIC member associations and their member firms.
4 - Demonstrates the key role of FIDIC in empowering future leaders all over the world.
Please note applicants will need to provide testimony and supporting documents covering the following categories:
15% - Contributions to Consulting Engineering Industry
10% - Contribution to Consulting Engineering Associations / FIDIC
25% - Technical Achievements
40% - Leadership Achievements
10% - Social and Community Contributions
Winners will be presented with their awards at the annual FIDIC International Infrastructure Conference on the evening of 12 September 2023.
