Short summary experiences
I graduated from a leading engineering ‘Arts et Métiers’ school in Paris (1994), followed by a Master Degree in Business/Law administration from HEC Paris, a leading business school (1995). I started my career in Water operation (Veolia) and as Contractor, then, in 2002 I joined Egis group. I now have twenty years practice as ‘The Engineer’ with extensive experience in contract administration and dispute resolution of FIDIC contracts, all around the world but specifically in African and Asian countries. As manager of a team of 30 engineers at Egis group, I find that I have good inter-personal and communication skills. As ‘Engineer’, I am able to be impartial, objective and a good “team player”. After attending many training programmes, and running several training sessions as tutor, I now have the knowledge of and experience in the interpretation of FIDIC documentation generally. I am familiar with the forms of contract published by FIDIC since 1999, and have a detailed understanding of the dispute resolution procedures contained therein. I am also a Friendly Reviewer of the 2017 edition. I am also an Accredited FIDIC Adjudicator (French national list SYNTEC 2012), and have a proven, first-hand experience as an adjudicator (sole member) in construction-related disputes in a major project in North-Africa, or as Counsel in six others cases.
