Programme overview
In 2017, FIDIC issued the latest Rainbow suite of its contracts, as the update to the extensively used 1999 edition. Compared to the 1999 edition, which continues to be used, certain changes have been made in the 2017 edition to reflect the rapidly changing and evolving industry in which FIDIC stakeholders operate. 2017 editions have been based on best practice, feedback from users all around the world, experts’ advice and the use of new technologies, adding certain novelty features to the already known contract documents. This course will provide a high-value insight to the major updates in 2017 editions, comparing the changes to the 1999 Editions.
This Comparison between the FIDIC Suite of Contracts 1999 and 2017 Editions course is being provided by FIDIC for candidates to learn and understand the comparison between the 1999 and 2017 editions of the FIDIC Contracts. The changes and updates provided in this course are key to understanding the similarities and new provisions applicable to FIDIC standard forms of contracts.
