A packed webinar programme, regional and international contract users’ events and the flagship FIDIC Global Infrastructure Conference, all feature in FIDIC’s 2023 events programme which has just been unveiled this week.
The 2022 webinar series of events saw thousands of global professionals register to attend a range of informative and insightful webinars and 2023 is set to be similarly popular, with a full programme arranged from February all the way through to December.
FIDIC’s committees will play a key role in organising the webinars, which will cover a wide range of key issues of interest to the global engineering, construction and infrastructure sector. The latest editions of FIDIC’s popular State of the World reports will also be launched during the year at webinars, all of which are free to attend.
In May, FIDIC will hold an annual two-day contract users’ conference for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. The event will take place online on 10-11 May 2023 and offer a unique opportunity to share progress on the application and use of FIDIC contracts in the region and internationally. The conference will include participation from multilateral development banks, other funders, private sector organisations and clients, government, engineers, contractors, investors, lawyers, consultants and many other stakeholders who have an interest in the use and application of FIDIC contracts.
The highlight of the year of course is the FIDIC Global Infrastructure Conference which takes place in Singapore from 10-12 September 2023. It might be ten months away, but given that the 2022 conference in Geneva was a sold-out event, it’s well worth acting swiftly now to ensure that you reserve your place at next year’s conference.
Towards the end of 2023, the Official FIDIC International Contract Users' Conference takes place on 28-29 November 2023 at the Tower Hotel in London. Following a successful 2022 event, the 2023 conference once again promises to be a must-attend event for all those working with FIDIC contracts.
