FIDIC has announced a list of its global member associations that will be receiving recognition in its prestigious 2024 Member Association Excellence Awards.

Winners of the awards, which highlight the achievements and successes of FIDIC’s international member associations and their work representing the global engineering consulting industry, will be announced at a gala dinner and awards ceremony on Tuesday 10 September 2024, as part of FIDIC’s Global Infrastructure Conference in Geneva.

After considering all the award submissions this year, the judging panel have agreed the following list of associations that will receive awards in the FIDIC Member Association Excellence Awards 2024.

• Association of Consulting and Engineering New Zealand.
• American Council of Engineering Companies.
• Swiss Association of Consulting Engineers.
• Consulting Engineers Association of India.

Each of these FIDIC member associations will receive an award across various categories, including People and Culture, Advocacy, Inspiring the Next Generation and Showcasing Value.

Commenting on the shortlist, FIDIC president Catherine Karakatsanis, said: “As ever, this year, we have witnessed FIDIC’s global member associations undertaking absolutely outstanding work in supporting their member firms and industry in their countries and I am really pleased that we will be recognising the excellent work that they do with these awards. I am looking forward to celebrating the success of these member associations and to them receiving an award at FIDIC’s Global Infrastructure Conference Gala Dinner event in Geneva in September.”
