Current Assignment: Working as head of Contract Management and Project Management of Design Build Contracts on FIDIC Contract forms, Management of Consultancy contracts. Finalising issues related to Contract Policy and Model Contract Document including DAB & Arbitrations. Finalising Empanelment of Arbitrators and Conciliators in DFCCIL. Dispute resolution for high value contracts- I have been representing and defending the Employer in adjudication of 22 disputes through Dispute Adjudication Board, 32 through Arbitration including 06 International Arbitration, with total claim value of approximately 01 billion USD. Previous Assignment as Head of Project Team: Executive Project head of Project team of Construction of 160 km long double line railway track for dedicated freight transportation to decongest existing Indian Railway routes. I have been the Project Head of the part of Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor having part Cost of INR39000million. The work profile involves Project planning, design coordination and progress monitoring during project execution. Project Management of Design Build Contracts on FIDIC Contract forms, Management of Consultancy contracts. Fund and Cash Flow Management- Coordination with multilateral funding agency the World Bank and Ministry of Railways for availability of fund and ensuring timely release of interim payments to contractors to ensure adequate cash flow in project. Interface Management- Close monitoring and management of interface issues among Civil, Track and System Contractors and other stakeholders. Dispute resolution for high value contracts- I have been representing and defending the Employer in adjudication of 07 disputes through Dispute Adjudication Board, 06 through International Arbitration and 04 disputes before Court of Law. Previous Assignment: Management of FIDIC contract, Management of Design Build contract system, coordination with field and corporate office, Interface Management with System Contract, Coordination to resolve Technical and Contractual Issues from Employer side in Design Build Contract. Finalization of alignment, preparation bid documents, framing of employer's requirement for Design-Build contract and assisting in procurement activities for the World Bank funded portion of Eastern DFC. Coordination with the funding agency the World Bank, progress review, managing missions and disbursements. Management of post-contractual issues, dispute resolution through Adjudication and Arbitration. Representing Employer DFCCIL before Dispute Boards and Court of Law. Additional Assignment of Infastrute Project: Executive head of Project team of Construction of 353km long double line railway track- Project planning, design coordination and execution of work. Project Cost INR 66220million. The contract awarded through international competitive bidding with international contractor as JV partner based on FIDIC Contract Form, Management of Consultancy contracts. Use of modern technology for construction, advance project management tools and interface management with several national/international agencies & Experts. Ministry of Railways Assignments: Design & Construction of new line railway track including Bridge Design & Construction, Formation, Preparation of proposal and budgetary estimate for sanction of proposal, planning and arranging for preliminary and detailed engineering survey, alignment finalization for DPR. Preparation/approval of tender documents, finalization of works tenders for execution of works, monitoring and supervision during execution and preparation of closure reports. Defending Railway's interest in Arbitration proceeding an acting as Arbitrator in disputes.
